Black Country, New Road Sarasota Concert reviews
Would Go Again!
The Black Country, New Road concert was a blast! The Doobie Brothers, the opening act, got the happy crowd up and dancing. Even a short thunderstorm just before the main event could not dampen the spirits of all who came to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock. Sound quality is excellent at Bethel Woods, a lovely concert venue. Highly recommend the $6 lawn chair rental to make your experience more comfortable. Don't miss the permanent museum exhibit and special We Are Golden display (through December). Pavilion seating is a nice option (you are covered in the event of rain), but lawn seating (where we chose to sit) is comfortable with great views of the stage, enhanced by the jumbo screens. There are plenty of food and beverage options and lots of bathroom facilities very close to the concert seating. Soak in the hallowed ground where Woodstock happened in 1969.
